1. Check Parts

Make sure that you have the correct part numbers, accessories--bolts, nuts, studs--and that you have the required tools.

2. Remove Wheels

This step should be performed by a qualified auto mechanic in accordance to manufacturers guidelines. Follow TRAK+® installation instructions in Step 3. Repeat for each remaining wheel.

3. Installation Tips

Make sure to review the installation tips listed below for the TRAK+® Wheel Spacer series that you are having installed.

DR INSTALLATION TIPS

  1. Remove wheel bolts and wheel.
  2. Place TRAK+® Spacer on hub of car (where the wheel was attached) making sure that the spacer is fully seated and flush with the hub.
  3. Place wheel onto the spacer and carefully line up the wheel / spacer bolt holes and mounting hole.
  4. Insert new longer H&R wheel bolts. Carefully hand turn bolts making sure that they spin in easily so as to not cross-thread.
  5. Repeat step 4 with the remaining bolts.
  6. With hand wrench, snug up the bolts in a star pattern.
  7. Before fully tightening, spin the wheel and tire to check for any noise or interference.
  8. Tighten the wheel bolts in a star pattern with a torque wrench set to wheel manufacturers specifications.

  1. Remove wheel and press out wheel studs.
  2. Replace stock wheel studs with new longer H&R Wheel Studs.
  3. Place TRAK+® Wheel Spacer on hub of car (over the new studs) making sure that the spacer is fully seated and flush with the hub.
  4. Place wheel onto the new studs and firmly seat against wheel spacer.
  5. Fasten wheel with original nuts. Carefully hand turn nuts making sure that they spin in easily so as to not cross-thread.
  6. Repeat step 5 with the remaining nuts.
  7. With hand wrench, snug up the nuts in a star pattern.
  8. Before fully tightening, spin the wheel and tire to check for any noise or interference.
  9. Tighten the wheel nuts in a star pattern with a torque wrench set to wheel manufacturers specifications.

DRA INSTALLATION TIPS

  1. Remove wheel bolts and wheel.
  2. Place TRAK+® Spacer on hub of car (where the wheel was attached) making sure that the spacer is fully seated and flush with the hub.
  3. Fasten DRA spacer to car using supplied special bolts. Carefully hand turn bolts making sure that they spin in easily so as to not cross-thread. Repeat with the remaining bolts.
  4. With hand wrench, snug up the bolts in a star.
  5. Tighten bolts in a star pattern using torque wrench set to manufacturers specification.
  6. Make sure no bolt heads protrude past spacer.
  7. Place wheel onto the spacer and carefully line up the wheel / spacer bolt holes and mounting hole.
  8. Carefully hand turn bolts making sure that they spin in easily so as to not cross-thread.
  9. Repeat step 8 with the remaining bolts.
  10. With hand wrench, snug up the bolts in a star pattern.
  11. Before fully tightening, spin the wheel and tire to check for any noise or interference.
  12. Tighten the wheel bolts in a star pattern with a torque wrench set to wheel manufacturers specifications.

  1. Remove wheel.

  3. Use supplied nuts to fasten spacer to original studs. Carefully hand turn nuts making sure that they spin in easily so as to not cross-thread.
  4. Repeat step 3 with the remaining nuts.
  5. With hand wrench, snug up the nuts in a star pattern.
  6. Tighten nuts in a star pattern using torque wrench set to manufacturers specification.
  7. Make sure original studs do not protrude past spacer, see note 8.
  8. Place wheel onto the new studs and firmly seat against wheel spacer.
  9. Fasten wheel with original nuts. Carefully hand turn nuts making sure that they spin in easily so as to not cross-thread.
  10. Repeat step 9 with the remaining nuts.
  11. With hand wrench, snug up the nuts in a star pattern.
  12. Before fully tightening, spin the wheel and tire to check for any noise or interference.
  13. Tighten the wheel nuts in a star pattern with a torque wrench set to wheel manufacturers specifications.
